The Fablab unibz was established in 2018 to provide students, researchers, and the general population with access to both digital and traditional fabrication technologies. As an important part of the university’s Third Mission, it promotes knowledge exchange, collaboration, innovation, and hands-on learning.

A dedicated team consisting of scientific leadership, Advisory Board, coordination, and technical staff ensure the strategic development of the Fablab, its safe operation, and the support of its members.

Together, they create an open environment for creativity, learning, experimentation, and innovation.
