Before purchasing materials, please consult the Fablab team to ensure compatibility with the machines. For example, some 3D printers require 1.75 mm filament, while others use 2.85 mm filament.

For the CO₂ laser cutter, only approved materials may be processed.

The following restrictions apply:

• PVC is strictly prohibited, as laser processing releases hazardous gases.
• Metals cannot be cut or engraved with the CO₂ laser cutter.
